Clark Blueberry Farm is in western White County, TN between Sparta and Smithville TN. We are a small family farm with the goal to provide our customers with the freshest and best quality blueberries as possible. We grow rabbit-eye blueberries which is a type developed for our southern climate. Our blueberries are usually available the 2nd or 3rd week in June (call to check) and goes until the middle or end of August (call to check).
My wife and I purchased our land in 1974. We built our home, raised three sons here and have always tried to grow as much of our food as possible; with a garden, beef, pork and chickens. In 2005, we decided to grow blueberries as our retirement project, to help keep us active. In 2010, we began our first harvest.
As a Vietnam veteran, I was able to apply through the Farmers Veteran Coalition to use the Homegrown by Heroes label. The label signifies that our blueberries are grown by a hardworking farmer veteran who is serving his nation twice, once by defending it and once by feeding it.
You can pick your blueberries or we will pick for you. We provide berry buckets for you to pick with. Be sure to bring water to drink and sunscreen to use. One suggestion is that to pick you come early in the morning or late in the afternoon or evening when it is a little cooler to pick. We do have friendly dogs who love to greet our customers.
